  • * Getting people who will talk
  • * Repeat calls weekly/daily

  • * Visit in person

  • * Stimulate chat

  • *Keep a pocket sized book

  • * Take phone nos, email, first name, second name, title, name of organisation

  • * Confirm titles if necessary

    For specialist areas and topics

  • * For example sport, minor clubs (squash, badminton, swimming etc)

  • * Get to know secretaries of clubs and leagues

  • * Get secretaries, coaches, to dictate reports

  • * Get them to submit reports
